EventsGO ("we", "our", or "us") operates the EventsGO mobile application and web platform at eventsgo.co. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our services.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
- Profile Data: Your role, company affiliation, and account settings.
- Meeting Data: Meeting records, contacts, and event information you create within the app.
- Device Token: Push notification token to deliver meeting reminders and updates to your device.
- Usage Data: Login activity and feature usage for security and audit purposes.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the EventsGO platform.
- To send push notifications about meetings and event updates.
- To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
- To maintain audit logs for security and compliance purposes.
- To improve our services and fix technical issues.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on AWS infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS) for data in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authenticated users within your organization.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data may be shared only in the following limited circumstances:
- With your organization's administrators as part of the platform's functionality.
- With the subprocessors listed below who help us operate the platform.
- If required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Subprocessors
We use the following processors. Some are located in the United States, so personal data may be transferred outside the EEA/Türkiye under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses). Company administrators can disable AI processing for their organization in the app's Privacy & GDPR settings.
- Supabase — database, authentication & hosting (EU/US).
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI briefs, summaries and suggestions (US).
- HubSpot — optional CRM synchronization of contacts & deals (US).
- Mailjet — transactional & report emails (EU).
- Sentry — error monitoring, only with your cookie consent (US).
- Google / Microsoft — optional calendar synchronization (US).
- Stripe — billing & payments (US).
- Expo — mobile push notification delivery.
6. Push Notifications
If you enable push notifications, we collect your device token to send you meeting reminders and event updates. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.
7. Camera Access
The EventsGO mobile app requests camera access solely to scan LinkedIn QR codes for adding contacts. We do not store, transmit, or process any camera images or video.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Withdraw consent for push notifications at any time.

9. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days.
10. Children's Privacy
EventsGO is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of EventsGO after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
